“MY CAUSE” WEB FEATURE THEME FOR FEBRUARY IS “COUNTRY SINGS FOR CANCER”
WEB FEATURE AVAILABLE ON ACMLIFTINGLIVES.ORG STARTING TODAY
Encino, CA (February 7, 2012) – ACM Lifting Lives® announced today that the February theme for its monthly “My Cause” web feature is “Country Sings for Cancer.” The web feature drives awareness of artist-supported charitable organizations and supports fundraising efforts for those philanthropies.
ACM Lifting Lives repeated the My Cause opportunity in 2011 by encouraging artists to speak on camera about their favorite charities at the 2011 ACM Awards. My Cause is a way for ACM Lifting Lives to tangibly demonstrate the Academy’s support of country music artists. Many people have been helped by these fantastic charities, and ACM Lifting Lives bolsters that support by increasing awareness and funding for these very deserving causes. Over the past two years, ACM Lifting Lives has donated more than $44,000.00 to artists’ favorite charities through this program, and will again make donations in addition to driving fan awareness.
This month, “My Cause: Country Sings for Cancer” is highlighting an organization that works to bring awareness and promote breast cancer research. Donations can be made to the charity using a donate link available with the video. Below is the artist and cause included in the February “Country Sings for Cancer” feature.
